Here is an interesting story about a teacher who vowed not to shave his beard until Bin Laden had been captured. When the good news broke on Sunday night, Gary Weddle shaved his beard for the first time in almost 10 years.
I took particular interest in this story because I did a comic back in 2006 that was along the same lines. Except my comic portrayed a more cynical outlook.
He jokes that maybe he should have given up watermelon instead.
